Conservation of 15th or  16th Century Gothic Cabinet with Flamboyant Carving

The cabinet was missing mostly structural  elements of the legs and bracket supports.  These missing elements were inlaid using matching walnut with similar graining.  The carvings matched the profiles, and were distressed to match adjacent wood.  After repairs, the wood was touched up and waxed.

 

Walnut cabinet was unstable, with broken legs.
