Custom Tables- Fabricated to your taste or design

We fabricate Custom Tables to your drawings, or we can design to your taste. Dining Tables with Leaves, Round Center Tables, Tables can be made of solid wood slab, or veneered. Carefully selected flitches of exotic wood veneers or solid lumber, or locally grown hardwoods such as American Black Cherry, or American Black Walnut, or Quartered or Rift Cut White Oak. We can finish the table naturally without stains or dyes, or use clear aniline dyes for accentuation of the grain. Is limed or cerused oak your preference?

We will design and fabricate in any period or style, from Modern to Gothic, We match molded profiles on the table top edges and legs. The top can display fine inlays of brass or other metals, bone or shell. Our sculptor can carve molded edges with gadrooning, or a contemporary rope motif, or whatever you can imagine. If you would like a rope carved top and legs, ending in a knot, our carving is indistinguishable from reality. Chinoiserie pagodas or phoenix, Rococo anthemion leaves, or Neoclassical wreaths with gilt and milk paint polychrome decoration. Your table can look new, or authentic antique.

 


One thing you can count on is quality. Real mortise and tenon joinery, hide-glued veneers. Any finish of your choice, from Oil and Wax, to French Polished to high gloss "piano" finishes polished to perfection.
